Teslíny, the highest settlement in Brdy (712 m), is an excellent starting point for crossing the central Brdy on mountain bikes. A nice route, connected with a visit to some really interesting sites, ends in Příbram (500 m).
From Teslín, take the green and red trails to the remains of the Teslín monastery, then to the Hořejší and Dolejší Padrť Pond. From there we climb along the dam of Dolejšího padrťský to the locality Na Rovinách and from there we descend into the valley of the Voložný brook. Ascend steeply along the forest path Myší díra, turn left at the mouth of the Borská River, then take the Jeřábecka road past the top of Brdec (839 m) to the Borská saddle. From there, we descend along the green trail to Pilský Pond, then along the blue trail and past the U Slaniny grove to Orlov (local part of Příbram).
