Cross-country skiing trails

The town of Příbram and the Military Forests and Estates of the Czech Republic have also jointly agreed on a system of trails for this winter season, which the state enterprise managing most of the Brdy Protected Landscape Area will leave for cross-country skiing trails in the winter season and will not plough or otherwise modify them as part of winter maintenance.

Also this year it will be possible to use the backbone of the Brdská skiing route from Zaječov through Dlouhý vrch, Houpák and Tok to the Brdské sedlo and further to Prague and Teslín. It will be followed by a system of other trails similar to last year's. According to him, the Brdské routes will again be connected to a number of suitable starting points on the outskirts of the protected landscape area in both the Central Bohemia and Pilsen regions, which should spread out the number of people interested in the Brdské routes.

Suitable starting points with transport or visitor parking capacities are Nepomuk, Láz, Bohutín, Příbram-Kozičín and Příbram-Orlov. Obecnice, Zaječov, Teslíny, Strašice, Dobřív, Mirošov, Skořice and Míšov.
