Dvořák´s High
Join us for the traditional tourist march, held annually on May 1 to commemorate the anniversary of Antonín Dvořák's death. The march will offer an unforgettable experience for all lovers of nature and culture.
Join us on a thematic tourist march for the Year of Czech Music! You can look forward to a route approximately 13 km long full of cultural stops and natural beauty. The entry fee is 40 CZK.
The Jan Drda Library and the Antonín Dvořák Memorial in Vysoká u Příbramě in cooperation with the Roman Catholic parish of Třebsko cordially invite you to the May Day march.
You can choose the starting point, the goal is only one. From Příbram you start from the KFC in Žežická Street, from Rožmital pod Třemšínem from the Infocentre. The start is between 11 am and 1 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
On the route from Rožmital there will be a musical stop at the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross (tours + concerts from 11.30 am to 1 pm).
At the church in Trebek, you can enjoy a tour and a concert from 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm, when Opera Studio Prague will play.
From 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm there will be guided tours in Villa Rusalka. Throughout the day you can take part in a photo competition with the chance to win tickets to the opera The Devil and Kate.
At the finish line from 2.30 to 4.30 p.m. you will enjoy live music by Quarteto Vivo and refreshments.
The course is beautiful and mostly avoids mud, but good shoes are always useful.
