Upcoming weekend full of fun for children
This weekend there will be several great events for children in Příbram. Whether you have little adventurers or creators, we've got three event tips you won't want to miss.
Farmers' market with workshops for children
Your weekend can start with a morning at the first autumn farmers' market. You can look forward to fresh fruit, vegetables, homemade baked goods, cold cuts and much more. Even better, the market will have a special workshop for children to create their own autumn decorations.
Archaeological workshops and fairy tales at the Mining Museum
Are you interested in history and would you like to experience what it takes to work as an archaeologist? Then visit the archaeological workshops at the cultural and educational centre in the Anna Mine area, where you can turn into an archaeologist for a while and experience the joys and sorrows of this attractive science. The event takes place on the occasion of the International Day of Archaeology on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, admission is 30 CZK.
Or do you prefer fairy tales? You can experience tours of the mysteriously illuminated Prokopská Štálála, accompanied by fairy tales and stories from the miners, on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Due to the limited capacity of the train, prior reservation is required at 318 630 149, the entrance fee is 60 CZK.
Adventure in the rope world on Svatá Hora
One last great tip for a family outing that will surely keep the kids entertained is the Rope World at the Exercise House on Svatá Hora. It's a fun-filled day for kids with rope obstacles both low and high above the ground. There will also be an accompanying programme and presentations by the Příbram Scout Troops. Sports clothes and sneakers with you. Accompanied by an adult is required. Entrance fee is 80 CZK.
After a day full of adventure with children, parents deserve a little fun too. How about going to a wine basket and a festival of flavours? The event will take place for the fifth time on Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm at T. G. Masaryk Square.
