At first, between 1971 and 1979, the theatre was occasionally screened from a portable device ("Maringotka"). In June 1981, a permanent modern Summer Cinema was inaugurated here, showing in the summer months. Nowadays, the cinema is operated by the Sports Facilities of the town of Příbram and concerts are also held here.
The capacity of the summer cinema is estimated at around 4500 visitors.
