To Příbram with a backpack on your back

The Marian Baroque pearl of Svatá Hora overlooks the mining town. We can freely walk between the frescoed amphitheatres connecting the four corner chapels that enclose the space around the church. Inside the church we can admire the rich Baroque decoration and the silver altar.

From the complex we continue along the covered Svatohorské stairs, which exit near T. G. Masaryk Square. From the square we can make a short detour to the Chateau-Ernestin, where the František Drtikol Gallery Příbram is located. The route continues along Milínská and Špitálská Streets, where we head upstream of the Příbramský Brook. Green markings will lead us to the Nový rybník area. Children will appreciate the many playgrounds and the local mini-zoo, and on sultry days we welcome the possibility of refreshing in the natural swimming pool or wakeboarding. Nový rybník also offers accommodation in new cabins, tent camping or caravan sites. We continue through the Březohorské housing estate, through the 17th November Square and along Politických vězňů Street. Turn into Kladenská Street and continue through J. A. Alis Square to the Mining Museum Příbram. A tour of the mining museum will remind us of the former glory of mining in Příbram.
