Wandering with the Permonids
The Permonites Prokop and Světluška invite you to a walk through the town with several stops and competition questions. After answering them, a small prize awaits you at the Příbram Information Centre in Pražská Street.
Underground dwellers
Gnomes living underground have always been called permonites. Those who guard the underground in Příbram are called Prokop and Světluška. And why do they have a home underground, where it is always dark? Příbram used to be a royal mining town where silver, lead and later uranium were mined. The Permonites helped the miners. They advised them where to mine or warned them of the dangers. To hear a Permonian was good luck. If a miner met one, he was to greet it with "Godspeed". Since mining in Příbram stopped years ago, the permoniks got a bit bored in the abandoned mines and decided to prepare a walk through the town with several stops and competition questions.
